ACFA Week 1 - Jasper and the Raiders roll
Battle of the titans to start the ACFA season as ChiTech hosted BState. The Rattlers came in hoping to stop the run but ChiTech RB Jasper still ran wild on the Rattler defense. In the end - the Bayou State QB Rocky Hughes had 3 Ints that were the difference - add in a couple of fumbles and the #1 team Chicago Tech starts the season with a win. The returning champion Scorpions ranked an amazing 24th in the league came in with an impressive win as QB Stephens picks up where he left off last year. ACFA GOTW 1 - #2 Bayou State at #1 Chicago Tech
An absolute dousy to start the ACFA season as #1 Chicago Tech takes on #2 Bayou State. The Chicago Tech team is loaded beyond compare with talent. They recruited the #1 QB in JUCO James Barnes and he will get the nod over veteran QB Jose Nicholas. But Nicholas can play too. RB Timothy Jasper is quick and strong and can go the distance in a flash. But the strength of this team is the OLine which has possibly 3 all americans. This team is a whirlwind storm in waiting. ACFA Preseason Polls are out
The preseason polls are out for the new season and a familiar face is on top of the polls as the Dutch Docker Chicago Tech team lays claim to the top spot. The Bayou State team comes in second follow by last year's preseason #1 Wisconsin State. The Raiders of Chi Tech boast a powerful new JUCO QB that no doubt has raised expectations in the Windy City. The always strong Oklahoma A&I team comes in at #4 while Hartford Union is ranked 5th. Next come three H10 teams in a row, Colorado Tech #6, Mizzou Southern #7 and Ozark at #8. ACFA Recruiting wraps up as Vegas State pulls down #1 class
The Vegas State Scorpions capitalized on their unbeaten championship season by putting together the #1 recruiting class in the ACFA. THe Scorpions had 8 5 Star commits worth a total of 2581 recruiting points. In a close #2 was Oklahoma A&I who always puts together a nice class, they had 3 5 Stars worth 2333 points. In #3 was Bayou State with 2248 points, 5 5 stars. Chicago Tech was 4th with 4 5 stars and 7 4 stars.
