ACFA - Bowl season kicks off and Houston Tech shines

The ACFA Bowl season kicks off with 8 games on the slate. We start with Houston Tech and Junior QB Aaron Rock. THe thunder were down 27-13 to 9-3 Frankford going into the 4th quarter when Rock took over. He engineered drives that resulted in 21 4th quarter points and big come from behind win for the Houston Tech team. Rock finished his day with a big 50 yard bomb with less than 40 seconds left for the go ahead score and win of 34-33. Rock finished 22 for 31 for 335
yards and 2 TDs. but Rock did not take home the Gold Rush Bowl POG honors - that went to RB P. Brothers who finished with 195

ACFA Conference Championships = WOW!

HolyCow! An absolutely crazy conference championship week and the polls tell the story! Where do we start - we gotta start with Leonard Miller and his 38 for 40 561 yards and 6 TD performance! That is just absolutely crazy numbers and then the pollsters look at Hartford Union and say nahhhhhh - lets move them down. The Chicago Tech Wiscosnin State game - the game of the year part II!! WOW!! The Warhawks win in they should get a shot at the championship but the Raiders had different ideas and for the better part of the day - that defense was the story.

ACFA Week 15 - Awards announced

Trace Hills wraps up the regular ACFA seaon undefeated and just about sweeps all of themajor awards this year. Senior QB CORNELIUS FARLEY wins his second Heisman Trophy - he won it 2 years ago and easily could have won it last year save a great year by the Union's Leonard Miller. FARLEY leads The Hills to undefeated season by passing for 4621 yards and 38 TDs. A 152 QB Rating along with 138 career TDs surely swayed the voters. FARLEy has flown under the radar for the often overlooked Trace Hills Bengals squad - a squad with a chance to repeat as champions! ACFA Week 14 - #1 The Hills lays 66 on Kentucky Union!

The #1 team in the land continues to prove that last year was no no fluke as they disposed of Kentucky Union layiing on a 66-3 ass beating. Trace Hills will finish undefeated and await an opponent from these teams - Unbeaten Wisconsin State (11-0)who still has a HUGE game against Chicago Tech. And of course hartford Union again is unbeaten at 12-0. A union team again that can win it all - the conference rumors of the Union moving continue to intensify as the Union gets no love in any polls but they could slip into a title game against the Hills!

Chicago Tech and Southern Utah hooked up in a major game. The Swarm busted out to a huge early lead that they would not relenquish. Hopes of a repeat for the Raiders are fading fast....read more.

ACFA Week 12

Vegas State rebounds from last weeks shocking upset and handles #15 Kansas Christian by a final score of 23-6. Bruce Cunningham had 31 carries for 236 yards in the game and now has a career high 1628 yards on the season and is 17 yards shy of 4,000 for his career in three seasons.
